On 23rd January 2022, the then Bank of Uganda Lead representative Prof Emmanuel Tumusime Mutebire kicked the bucket from Nairobi Emergency clinic at 72 years old years. He had been lead representative for near 20 years having been designated in 2001.
Since Mutebire passed on, president Museveni had never named another national bank lead representative. Mutebire's Agent Dr Micheal Atingi-Self image has been filling in as Delegate not in any event, acting lead representative.
Be that as it may, in a letter seen by this distribution, endorsed by president Museveni, he has named the new lead representative Bank of Uganda. He has raised Dr Micheal Atingi-Self image as National Bank chief and named Busoga Realm Head Dr Joseph Muvawala to be his Representative.
Muvawala is a financial specialist who at the hour of his new position at the National Bank has been the Overseer of Public Arranging Authority.
